Host an Event at Cape Forchu
Our scenic grounds are a popular spot to hold your outdoor wedding, family reunion, celebration of life, or other special gathering. Parking is limited, therefore we do our best to prevent events from overlapping and strongly recommend carpooling. Although we don't offer any event planning services, food service, chair or tent rentals - you are permitted to set up your own seating, wedding arch or tent onsite if you wish. Open fires are not allowed.
Please keep in mind that the grounds are open to the public so other visitors may be onsite during your event. Our golf cart shuttle service can assist those with mobility issues during our regular business hours. Wifi is available over the entire site. If desired, a private Climb the Light experience could be added to your celebration and customized to accommodate your group.
A 12’ X 16’ private room is offered for $10/hour + HST during our regular business hours. Rates may be higher if the event is “for profit”. This room is on the first floor of the keeper’s residence building and is equipped with tables & chairs. For additional details and to inquire about availability, please request on the booking form.
If alcohol is to be served, a Nova Scotia Special Occasion Liquor License must be obtained along with $1 million dollars of liability insurance.
