Dumping Day 2025

Join hundreds of local residents at 5:30 am (yes, we know it’s early!) as they celebrate the start of the season for Canada’s largest lobster fishery. Bring your flashlights and be part of a community wishing “safe travels and good luck” to the hundreds of boats heading out.

Current Planned Dumping Day: Earliest date - Monday, November 24th (this date is always subject to change)

Dumping Day is typically held on the last Monday of November in Yarmouth & Acadian Shores. Due to weather, the date is flexible and it is recommended to check back for regular updates or contact us.

Please note, no washroom facilities will available on-site due to site winterization.
